Safety Training Bundles
What are they?
A Safety Training Bundle is a group of courses that are similar in nature - or - similar in who they would apply to. Bundles include a number of courses & although there is no "minimum" to take... the more you take, the more you know, the safer you are! Courses do not have to be taken sequentially however keeping the learning-sessions close together will help with lesson-retention and how the separate lessons related to each other
Each Bundle has anywhere from 2 through to over 15 courses. Within each bundle you can pick-&-choose what specific courses apply, choose the sequence they come-in & of course set a schedule when the courses are held. Individual certificates will be issued for each course and, if requested, a Bundle Certificate can be issued
"Custom Bundles" can be created to suit your specific workplace needs
Successfully completing a series of courses related to a similar topic - or - related to a specific job, would be an excellent demonstration of Due Diligence and help to demonstrate/prove the person in that role is well-trained, qualified & therefore "Competent"
Federal & Provincial Legislation along with numerous Standards, make a direct reference to people performing tasks being required to be Competent!
Various Legislative definitions of Competent include such things as:
- Knowledge, Training & Experience
- Familiar with Legislation
- Knows the actual & potential Hazards
- Can assign work
- Holds a recognized Credential / Professional standing
- One who has demonstrated skills and knowledge, etc...
