Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Practical Evaluation/Tests

MHE - This is 1-on-1 hands-on safety training Pre-Certification aimed at introducing the new operator to the equipment, its inspection & safe operation.  There is no "Test" however, operator "opportunities for improvement" will be discussed

A minimum of 2hrs is booked per machine however longer times may be necessary dependant on operator ability

This session may also be booked to help problematic / non-compliant operators to overcome their poor driving habits

Material Handling Equipment (Forklift) - Once participants successfully complete the Theory portion of MHE Training, the completion of training includes a formal Certification Test  

Operators will be tasked to demonstrate equipment operation, based on learned safe operating theories, across a series of maneuvers

Evaluations typically take 30-45mins per piece of equipment depending on experience 

Standard passing grade = 75%

MEWP - This is 1-on-1 hands-on safety training Pre-Certification aimed at introducing the new operator to the equipment, its inspection & safe operation.  There is no "Test" however, operator "opportunities for improvement" will be discussed

A minimum of 2hrs is booked per machine however longer times may be necessary dependant on operator ability &/or equipment complexity (Telescopic Stick Boom / Articulated Knuckle Boom)

This session may also be booked to help problematic / non-compliant operators to overcome their poor driving habits

Mobile Elevated Work Platform - Once participants successfully complete the Theory portion of MEWP Training, the completion of training includes a formal Certification Test  

Operators will be tasked to demonstrate equipment operation, based on learned safe operating theories, across a series of maneuvers

Evaluations typically take 30-45mins per piece of equipment depending on experience however, more complex equipment (Articulated Knuckle Boom) may take 1hr

Standard passing grade = 75%
